Description

Another of my Global-themed needlepoint designs is “Solstice” inspired by motifs seen in antique Native American blankets of the American Southwest.

Solstice’s horizontal design emphasis provides the opportunity to work different fancy stitches, as the knitting, or kalem, stitch, for instance.  Or, of course, it can be easily and comfortably worked in tent/continental stitch.
